The D&AD is an organization that celebrates excellence in design and advertising. They recently announced winners for the 2016 D&AD Awards. Below are only a few of the many amazing winners and it’s hard to pick just a few to showcase here. Also noteable are the “New Blood” winners, which include the new generation of creative thinkers and designers. Take a look at the list of those winners.
Grabarz & Partner (Disappearing Animals)
Grabarz & Partner created a beautiful piece for environmental organisation, Robin Wood. The illustration highlights the destruction of nature on the animals and the environment.
Droga5 (Coke Retweet)
Droga5 won for Poster Advertising and the agency creatively designed original tweets by Diet Coke fans.
Leo Burnett Chicago (Van Gogh Bnb)
Leo Burnett Chicago won for Advertising for Direct. Their winning project was their promotion of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Van Gogh exhibit in which they created Van Gogh’s painting called “The Bedroom” in 3D. I mentioned it in one of our blogs here.
thjnk ag & Leo Burnett (Burger Report)
thjnk ag & Leo Burnett created the report for McDonald’s Germany. Love the use of simple infographics to deliver the information.
The Partners (Fine Cell Work)
The Partners a Graphic Design winner for the Calendar category created a calendar symbolises the hope for a brighter future for inmates while needlework and fostering a sense of self esteem during a dark and difficult time.
